How do you store a recording if something happens but doesn't trigger it? Is there a button or voice command or something? Thanks

Non-removable battery is a big red flag for me, it screams planned obsolescence. I'll go for the Action 4 or the 5 if it's released.

Can you just attach the camera to your t-shirt (as an example), check the angle on the pod, maybe even start the recording and just chuck the pod into your pocket or backpack? Will the recording continue? That's something I cannot really do with the AcePro when wearing on my chest unless I use the app as a remote. (No, I don't wanna buy a remote)

I have my AcePro currently under repair (hopefully it will be replaced) due to water damage - thanks Insta360 for ruining my summer 😂 - and I was thinking maybe this is the one I should get instead. It's much lighter and probably is perfectly enough for my needs. However I don't really trust the magnet, let's say I would not wear the necklace and the camera attached to it padding on a SUP.

ok, ok! hold the phone! WHAT! this looks just like something i've wondered about for a long time, cos some of the stream decks, seem lacking or - honestly, over complicated for me personally. it would still require an OBS or similar to work on stream? but it does it all for you instead of fumbling around obs to figure it all out and configure buttons! that is frustrational, for my little head to try to remember! this could be something that i might find very useful - just got to get my laptop upgrade, as the specs don't seem to like obs!!! but for future creativity. looks this bit of kit seems awesome

I found that the small nozzle is almost too small. It creates so much back pressure that most of the air comes out the backside. I love it as a blower. I love what it can do. But the small nozzle is a complete waste.

Now that my AcePro is in repair (possibly replacement) I'm thinking I probably should have gotten this one.

the battery life seems amazing, 2 weeks and only charged it once. is that cos you just was careful how much you used it? like just small clips, nothing lengthy? curious - how many minutes footage you can get on a 125gb? and will we run out of battery before we run out of space? ? sorry, too many silly questions! the footage does look epic though, for sure. fab video buddy.

Can you power on and off with the Smartphone App?

its not as good as your trying to make out. ai can't be used on the pc app, the app is very bad to use, the Bluetooth dont connect, wifi keeps dropping out, horrible stitch line where the lenses meet. and thats just what i can think of the top of my head.

The Trail Loop is worth the money when you compare the fit, finish, and comfort with third party bands. The Titanium links don’t affect the compass and navigation functions unlike some of the steel alternatives. The Ocean Loop is probably the most robust strap but does leave marks as described.

What’s the max range for viewing on a smartphone? If I put it on the end of a 7m pole to inspect roof gutters, would I be able to see video footage on my smartphone from the ground?

I wanted to buy the Pocket 3, but I heard it can use only max 1 second exposure. Wth? Is there anything known already about the max exposure of the Pocket 4? My Osmo Pocket (1) is doing a better job than the 3 on night skies. At least 8 seconds, but more is better.

Also i have always been told off for putting magnets by electrical items - i was always told that the magnets would scramble/break the devices... or am i now showing my age somewhat! 🤣 i think i will try some of these, especially, as i have some old devices - i know there are certain things i cant charge through my power bank, i assume that is also the case with different type of cable, but making things more universal now is definitely a huge help. I bought one of these to make better use of limited outlets on a cruise boat. (power boards are strictly not allowed on the boat). I was so impressed I went and got another so we'd have one each. It charges all three devices way faster than I expected with it connected to the wall charger that came with out iPhones. The LEDs glow a bit to show you wat is charging, which sounds obvious but we suffered a night of a flashing green light recently because my wife had not located the AirPod box correctly, and it knew it was there but needed a nudge. Thank goodness that bright green light was not normal, because it was a PITA. Anyway, I had to come and find a video about them just so I can say how much I love them. If I had to think of a con to go with all the pros, it's that they don't fold flat, so they are not quite so convenient to pack in your suitcase, but I guess they'll fit in with all the socks and underwear.

There’s no comparison GoPro still is king I have both they are very different gopro has better video by far but insta 360 is very fun camera they are just different that’s what they don’t tell you it’s not really 8k it’s 4 k at best and the video quality can’t compete with GoPro

The disappointment is that the Apple-only bracket, which works very well, is an optional extra and that the LED light becomes a useless accessory unless you are using the spring-loaded clamp. Like this models predecessor, the spring loaded clamp is awkward to use with an iPhone.

Check the latest regulations if you want to carry that thing on an airplane. There still may be limits (was 27Ah not too long ago). Hopefully things get adjusted to available technology soon.

I detect a distinct bias... you're whole channel is mostly 360 videos (Iooked like a 100 or more, but I quit counting). Your gimbal comparison is compelling, except 360 as a company has NO Customer service! I've never got a response to any of my queries on my X4 when it quits working going back to May. Looking at Amazon Insta360 Flow Pro reviews, 21% are 1 & 2 Star. DJI just came out with a firmware update, so it means they're still adding features. I ordered an OM6 ...which means the OM7 will be released as soon as my 30-day return period runs out.

So.. I'm new to the DJI Osmo 3 pocket and even recording audio/video in general. Learning about the camera and posting questions. So to record in 32-bit float, is that an option to improve the audio quality? Because the camera by default records audio at a lower quality? A lower bitrate? Thank you
